Favourite bold winter lippies

- Max factor colour elixir giant pen stick in 35 passionate red

Beautifull red color, it looks and feels very luxurious, when i first swatched this lipstick rubies came to my mind instantly. It is very pigmented, there is really no need for more then one coat.
As far as aplication goes it is very smooth, it glides on almost as if it was melting on your lips, and   it leaves a glossy finish.

- Guerlain rouge g l'extrait in M69 orgueil

Another gorgeous deep red / plum shade, that is very rich in color as well. It feels very velvety and
smooth while applying, it is creamy at first but it dries to an almost matte finish. It's very
longlasting, as long as i keep my habit of constantly licking my lips under control.

- Illamasqua lipstick rouge a levres in shard

I could say plum, or deep berry, or dark purple.. but it's just so much more to this color, and i simply adore it. the color at least, cause the aplication can be quite tricky. As it is matte, the lipstick is very dry and i find it easiest to apply it evenly with a lip brush. I would suggest to moisturise your lips, or use a lip scrub prior applying the lipstick, because it can be unflattering and look  flakey on chapped lips.

-Artdeco art couture lipstick in 615 velvet

This color is much more vibrant, bright red, almost orange. The formula is nice and creamy, and  there is no need for slapping on those extra coats of lipstick as well. To deepen it out a bit i use a  slightly darker lip pencil and outline my lips over the lipstick.

- Catrice ultimate colour in 090 like my high heels

This one is pretty much the same as the art deco one, speaking of color. But, It's definitely more
glossy and sheer. because it is a bit too orangey I do create the same ombre look with the darker lip pencil.
